How to Keep Nonstick Performing Longer

Ceramic nonstick rewards gentle habits. Four rules keep this set performing for a decade:

  • Medium heat is the max you'll ever need. The aluminum core makes high heat unnecessary — and high heat is what ages any ceramic coating.
  • A drop of oil or butter, always. Ceramic is naturally slick, but a little fat protects the surface and makes food taste better anyway.
  • Let it cool before washing. Thermal shock (hot pan, cold water) is the #1 avoidable cause of coating wear.
  • Hand-wash in 30 seconds. Nothing sticks, so soap and a soft sponge is all it takes. Skip the dishwasher and steel wool.

Make it last: see how to make your ceramic nonstick last (and what “flaking” really means).

Warranty & proof: 10-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects (terms) · hand wash recommended · independently tested — see the one-page ceramic test summary (PDF) or the full lab reports.
